I know I've dropped off the
"Blogging Planet"
but that's no reason to abandon a girl.
I (kind of) have a good excuse... it's because ofmy NEW friend... "Mr. Greendrive"
(yes, he is Eco-friendly)
He showed up in an effort to speed up

my BEST friend... "Mr. Home Computer"
We figured the culprit of the SLOW LIFE we've been living here, with "Mr. Home Computer", was because of the (approx.) 2000 pictures stored in his hard drive. We hoped "Mr. Greendrive" could help us out.
As I began to make the transfer over to "Mr. Greendrive" I began to realize I was indeed right ... and wrong. The cause of the slowdown was definitely the pictures.
However not 2000...
but 8000 of them!!!
Yes, I have 8000 family pictures stored on "Mr. Home Computer" ... well, now they're on "Mr. Greendrive" but that's NOT the point.
As I stared at the screen, my "rational mind" told me there must be a mistake. No one could have taken that many pictures in such a short amount of time.

(You know, that voice we hear saying, "This would be great on the blog. Take another picture of the exact same thing, but at a different angle, it might fit better on the page." Tell me I'm not the only one who hears it!)

"Is 'Mr. Home Computer' faster than it was before
'Mr. Greendrive' showed up."
Answer...
"Slightly. I've since learned that Tyson has 5000 songs on 'Mr. Home Computer' (well, that is approx. It'll probably be more like 10,000). But that is another task for another day."
As for today...
We're back in the game!

So glad to have you back! I too hear those voices and I too have taken and average of 1000 pictures a month since Dawson was born.:)
Glad your back!! I know what you mean about taking pictures because you are a blogger. I took 87 pictures alone on the 4th of July. When in years past I've taken none. Are we crazy or what?! Oh well, gotta love it!!
You know I here that Mac makes it really simple to store tens of thousands of pictures on an external hard drive wirelessly, with face recognition. Just saying.

I wish I could say I have no idea what you are talking about, but.... that would be a lie. We too have an extra hard drive (storage) thousands of pictures and music. Oh well. My way of keeping a journal.
