P.O. Box 65

Tyson has been trying to make
a hard decision for some time
but on April 6th he finally hit...
Three weeks later at 6:00 a.m.
I received this text...

"Tyson has his mission call.
It's in your box.
How exciting!!"

The message was from
the gals at the post office...
only in this small town
would that happen.

So to the post office
Hummer and I went!

They were right,
it was there ...
We were excited and the fact that Tyson's call
was in our UTAH mailbox,
when he lives in Iowa,
called for some serious...
And this picture immediately
went out to our boy in Iowa.

Ty's response?
"Nice.  lol"

Well that response was hardly adequate
Leading us to up the ante!

We paid a visit to
the little boy for whom
goodbye was the hardest.
Hey, why not?

Ty's response?
"Ha ... what the?"

Awww, that's more like it!
So next stop...
Grandpa Hutch.

Grandpa must have looked suspicious
since I got this response...
"You need to get that to me
before someone opens it!"

That's the response we were after!
Tyson should have known better!
So the games began...

Let's get
Grandma Hutch
in the picture!

And stop by
Grandma Johns'
(Grandpa was at work)

And what do you say
we head over to the
High School!
I know the doors are open!
Well there's cousin
Ally Jo-Jo
She's cried at the mention of
Ty's name since he left
in August.

She thought she could tell something
by the stamp.  I laughed at her
but now I think she's right.

I had to track down
Red
This picture is priceless!

Cutie Girls
always make for
an excellent
picture!
Coach Heath
Oh man,
I was seriously fearful
he was really going to open it
because as I heard too often,
"He would!"
Torturing Ty was a BLAST!
Seriously, more fun than
I have had in a
loooooooong time!

Is that a sign of a
serious problem?

Did I mention Jeff was in Denver?
Yeah, we were torturing him too.

That part wasn't much fun,
I wish he had been with me.

But since he wasn't,
I headed over to see
his brother
at the Seminary.
It seemed fitting.

And next I was headed to
YOUR house
to take YOUR picture
when it hit me...
If I tortured Tyson for too long,
he had the ability and
the ammunition
to torture me in a far worse fashion.
And if you know Tyson, you know
"He would!!"
That realization was enough
to make me shape up!

So I headed to my brother's
for some Fedex assistance!

As much as we knew we
had to get it on it's way,
we couldn't resist
one last photo.

Ty's response?
  "ha funny"

It was then I put it in
the overnight envelope,
sealed it up
drove it to Fedex
and the butterflies began.

To be continued...

Jaret's mission call sat on the counter in our house for 3 days while he was away on spring break in Florida! I did pretty good with the waiting and all, but I think it was harder for the grandparents. They kept looking at the postage and saying, "I'm just sure it's domestic. It doesn't look heavy enough to be foreign." Well, they were wrong!
