Attn: Sunday Schoolers

Hello Sunday Schoolers!
Glad to see you found The Blog.
Let me introduce you to "THE GAME"...

**Note: You will need to put on your "thinking caps".

The Objective:To figure out who will be visiting our classroom THIS Sunday.

The Instructions:
1. Check this blog EVERY DAY.
2. Each day you will find a new clue to help you in your quest to win.
3. The clues will get more detailed as the week goes on.

The Rules:
1. Leave your guesses in the "comment" section found at the bottom of this post.
2. You may guess ONE time every day.
3. Be sure to leave your NAME with your comment.

The Point System:
1. The class will get a point for each GUESS.
2. Guesses will be VOID if there is not a name attached.
3. Points will be given for EVERY correct answer.
4. Extra PointS will be given depending on how EARLY the correct guess comes in.
5. I have invited ALL visitors to this blog to guess with you... their guesses will also earn a point.
6. Points will be given to EVERYONE who reads the lesson this week. You will find what to read from the sticker on the back of your study guide. Leave me a comment if you need more information.
7. All points earned will go toward our "Reward Program". You know, the one where YOU are choosing the next reward (and just so you know, going to Texas Road House for dinner is NOT an option... keep thinking though).

***Note: You have the ability to earn all 70 points needed in this ONE WEEK alone. That's a good goal to work toward... no let's make it a CHALLENGE.

How to win:
1. Look all around for people who match the clues.
2. Guess everyday
3. Remind everyone you see to do the same.
4. Come to class on Sunday.
5. Do NOT be late.
6. Plan to be reverent.

GOOD LUCK!

Here we go...

Monday: YOU (most likely) see this person on most days. This person is, personally, concerned about YOUR future.

Time Out

To My Fellow Bloggers:
I am writing to inform you that I must take a time-out from my normal blogging. The blog will be used for another purpose this week. However, you are still welcome to drop in and even play along. I'm sure my kids would love all the help they can get. I'll return next week with my normal, odd ramblings.
Love You All, Krista

P.S. I will give you the answer to "It was ARSON" then.

GIRLS Rule!

So where do you hang out in the wintertime when you attend good old GHS ... the boys basketball game or maybe the wrestling match? Both of those answers would be wrong.

What you do in the wintertime in this small town is watch GIRLS basketball! I know you are saying "WHAT?!" but it's true. Girls basketball is, indeed, more popular than boys.

It was great to see the kids come together tonight to show such great school spirit in the game against, all the time rival, Morgan. Both teams were undefeated in region play and there was a lot at stake. In the end, we walked away with a BIG WIN and a BIG GRIN at the fact that the students at GHS simply have more school spirit than any other FANS of Girls Basketball!

Obama

As I have spent this Historic Day in front of the TV, I have been surprised at the JOY I've felt. JOY that I'm alive to witness the happenings of this day... JOY that my children were let out of class to witness it also...
JOY that they understand they've been a part of history... JOY that we have ALL been apart of history... but most of all, JOY for all the African-Americans who never thought this day would come.

Today I was proud to be an American. I was proud to see young & old, black & white, disabled & not and even, Republican & Democrat, stand together to cheer for new HOPE in our country.

I will admit that I did not vote for Barack Obama. However, now that he is our President, I will support him and pray for him everyday... and I will join with him in saying
YES WE CAN!

2nd Greatest Event

Each Sunday I am so thankful for the greatest event that ever took place... the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Today I am especially thankful for the 2nd greatest event...

“The appearance of God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ to the boy prophet is the greatest event that has occurred in this world
since the resurrection of the Master”
-Elder Ezra Taft Benson

Searching for Sun

The inversion had us feeling a little blue. So we headed up the mountain in search of the SUN. We were happy to find it along with lots of shopping in Park City.

Everyone got new shoes and the boys found these hot new sunglasses (click on the picture to appreciate the full beauty of them). How is it that they always find the weirdest thing out there?

It was nice to run away and we feel much better after spending the afternoon in the bright, warm sunshine!

Ditching Dishes

What do you do when you are switching from The Dish to Dish Network... and yet your son was on the news and it is
recorded in your DVR... the DVR that will be out of service as of this afternoon. Well, you just video tape your television and just like that the memory is preserved forever!
DUH!

Sometimes you prove to yourself how electronic ILLITERATE you really are. This would be one of those times. I'm sure there was a better way to do this.

Dressin' up & Laughin' out loud.

You can always count on The JEFFERIES Cousins for fabulous memories. This Christmas did not disappoint as we held our annual party. It was a night filled with GOOD food, GREAT company and FABULOUS presents!

Little Grandma would have been proud!

Everyone gets to choose a gift from "Anonymous". When it is your turn, you can either open a gift or steal one from another person. As you will see, high quality CLOTHING has always been a crowd favorite.
The only rule is: You must wear whatever you open.

Oh WOW, look at those beautiful feathers. Oh wait, are those feathers on a BRASSIERE?

The rule didn't say you have to wear your clothing as it was meant to be worn. What a gorgeous feathered brassiere ... OPPS ... I mean HAT.

We cherish the moments we have to spend with those we love. Especially when those moments include laughing our heads off!

I play FAVORITES

I'll admit it...I'm not ashamed...I play favorites. I have an all-time favorite blog entry. Some of you may have read it, others maybe not. It spoke of a moment in time that was life changing for most of our family. If you'd like to read (re-read) about it click HERE or on the button in the right margin.

A Broken Oath

When I opened this blog I took alot of time with the layout and promised myself I would never change it. I have stopped myself from the temptation many times but last night, after I set up my mom's, I gave in.

Let me just say WHAT A MESS! Dillon and I picked out a wonderful backdrop only to find, that because it was black, many of our posts didn't show up. It has been a frustrating afternoon.

Finally I decided to just share the same look I set up for my mom. I'm sorry if all the posts don't show up (anything in white) but I must stop... for I've sat here at my computer for the last 6 hours.

One thing is for certain... this blog will never look different again. It's just to much work.

is now the proud owner of their very own blog!

... Priceless.

Here in our little town, the WAY you ask a girl to The Prom is almost as important as the The Prom itself. Having 2 sons, I have worried and stewed about the day we would need to face this ginormous task. Alas, the day has arrived...

As the conversation began, I immediately let out all the idea's I'd stored in my memory for last 17 years. Suddenly I was abruptly brought to a halt by these words ...

"MOM. I already know what I want to do."

Oh Glory! Who would have thought? Then I listened... in AWE. And all I am left to say is that my little Tyson has become quite a MAN. So here it is...
the PLAN, the MAN, thought up all on his own. What do you think?

Inside Bag #1...
Inside Bag #2...

Inside Bag #3...

Inside Bag #4...

Inside Bag #5...
I know it's kind of small. It says:
"Seeing you on Prom Night... $Priceless"

I know... I know...
WOW!
He's quite a kid!

Stay tuned to find out if he recieves a "YES"
