Field of Dreams...

Well, the fields of corn weren't
leading us aimlessly along,
we did have a mission
a "Field Mission"

In this hour we were headed to
"The Field of Dreams"

You know...
the famous the movie.
You know...
the movie we watch all the time.
You know...
the movie we watched on the way there.
You know...
the all time greatest movie ever!

What?
You don't know?
You don't watch it all the time?
You think the Twilight Saga is better?
Well, I inform you, you are
WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!

--------------------
Okay, Okay, OKAY ... enough bickering!
Back to the "Field" at hand.

(But rent the movie tonight if you haven't seen it)
--------------------

For those of you who have seen
The Best Movie of ALL Time
(Maddie, don't think I can't hear you screaming!)
you'll recall the famous line...

"If you build it, they will come"

Well, they were right,
WE CAME.

Of course
Dad had to play a
little catch with the boys
because when we die
we don't want regrets.

(You'll understand after watching the movie tonight.)

Of course
Mom had to sit on the bleachers and smile because dads, sons and baseball make moms smile!

(Sorry, I didn't have a daughter to choke on a hot dog and fall off.)

Of course we all
had to walk out of the corn
because that's why
"he built it"

(Don't be confused with
"Children of the Corn")

Of course we had to ask ourselves
"Is this Heaven?"

Of course our reply was
"No... it's Iowa."

And on a side note, so I don't get a bunch of hate mail, I also enjoy the Twilight Saga just not as much as I enjoy
THIS...

(Someday you'll understand Maddie.)

To be continued...

You have to know that is my FAVORITE movie of all time...the bleachers, the game of catch, walking out into the corn........all on my bucket list of things to do before Brady plays at my funeral!!!! We were in Iowa last year.........where is the field? I'm going to cry if it is even close to where we were....

First off- I love that show...secondly it IS better than the twilights- (and I love them too). What a funny blog. That is SO awesome you got to go there, I never knew it was a "real" tourist place to visit. Neat!
