The Caterpillar started to move around endlessly, so Jeff decided he'd better do some research. He found that this particular species BURROWS to make it's cocoon. So we put some dirt in it's home
.Today we've found cocoon buried. It's hard as a rock and we are patiently waiting for something with wings to emerge. We will keep you posted. It's quite exciting for us, here at The Hutchins Home!
Oh, and FYI ... Dill has named this creature "Mitch".
